Was one of my favorites!

It’s from a book of Christian songs called “Sing and Celebrate.” There are 2 volumes. We sang many in youth group in the late 70’s.

Can you tell me which volume number of Sing and Celebrate. It doesn't list the dates it lists the volume number. I have been looking for this song for over 30 years. Thank you.

The song in question is titled "In the Upper Room". The lyrics I learned vary slightly.
In the upper room 12 men are sitting 'round the Lord.
As he calls to break the bread they hear him say,
"This is my body which is broken fo you,
And for you I've known the pain.
This cup you drink recalls my blood that is shed.
Please don't let it be in vain... in vain. (last time only)

It was called "In The Upper Room"

I too recall that song and loved singing it.Our youth group had a small red songbook that it was in...That song was a favorite to sing when I was in my teens...along with Pass It On..also in that booklet
