Thank you so much for this song and it's posting. I awoke 2:30 am this morning with just the first two lines of the refrain. I ended up writing a small devotional on it. It was a song I used to sing in church 47 years ago. I Googled it, found it and I was very touched by all the verses. Awesome. God is so God. He does not change. Bless you for this posting. It's something my wife and I want to, need to share with a very needy person in a caravan park we are staying at.

I only know the chorus but i do not know how to sing the actual verses, can you tell me to what song or even the music to it so that the organic can folow the song

I didn't realize there were so many verses to that song. We use to sing the chorus when I was a kid in church. The song has been on my mind this week and the verse about Jesus would've passed by them on the sea. Immediately he saw them and saith unto them, Be of good cheer,it is I ;be not afraid. Mark 6:48-51. We've got to reach out to Jesus in these last perilous days we're living in. Have mercy on us Jesus. We need you in our lives today. AMEN.

Hi everyone,

I woke up this morning with this song on my mind. The last time I heard this song was years ago when I was just a child. I don't know why it came to mind, but God knows what he is doing. But, I was thinking about when Jesus meet the two disciples on the road to Ammaus. The Bible says that as Jesus was walking with them that he would have passed by there home but they encouraged him to spend the night, and he did. It was only then when Jesus revealed himself to them. In mind the thought to the story is "Jesus does a lot in response to an invitation." Remember the blind man? Jarius and his daughter, the disciples on the stormy sea, Jesus would have passed them all by, but He met their needs because of an invitation.

Thanks for much for the lyrics to REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE LORD. Does anyone know the lyrics for HAVE FAITH IN GOD? It goes - Have faith in God, believe on Jesus. He'll answer every ernest prayer. ...?.......................... Have faith in God, He answers prayer. This was in a red hymnal book.

The chords are for the chorus as found in the Master Chorus book, but work for each verse as well. I'm fairly certain that the music is also in one of the Country Gospel books that has 5 or 6 volumes to it, but I can't locate my copies to check right now. Hope this helps.
