Verse 3
They nailed Him to the cross and his mother stood nearby
And He said woman, woman behold thy son
Then He cried I thirst for water, but they gave him none to drink
And then the sinful work of man was done

Verse 4
To the howling mob He yielded and He did not for mercy cry
He just Father, Father forgive them for they know not what they've done
And then He cried it's finished and then He gave Himself to die
And salvation's wondrous plan was done

Because it's such a long song... people normally singh 2 verses, then chorus
Sometimes starting they will start with chorus.

They bound the hands of Jesus in the Garden where he prayed
they led him through the streets in shame, they spit upon the Savior
so pure and free from sin they said crucify him he's to blame

he could have called ten thousand angels to destroy the world and set him free
he could have called ten thousand angels but he died alone for you and me

upon his precious head they placed a crown of thorns they laughed and said behold the king. they cursed him and they mocked him and they scorn his holy name all alone he suffered everything.
