These last six years since my son was killed, I have prayed for many many things. I have never given up. Songs we sung in church were on my mind. This song in particular about prayers being unanswered. I looked it up and found it. How joyous I feel! And how joyous I feel knowing that God will in His time. When God says "no," "not yet" "wait," I will be patient!

Thanks for the lyrics of this hymn made available on web. The Lord was ministering it to me this morning and I couldn't get the lyrics. I searched Google for it and I'm greatly blessed and lifted by it.

"Have Faith in God" is in the current Baptist Hymnal (SOuthern Baptist) and in the previous (1990's) printing of the Baptist Hymnal

Today I am wondering if there is verses to this chorus.

The topic for my daily bible reading for this morning is
Have faith in God and this song came to my heart googled it and was able to sing it through the four verses. Praise God, He is on the throne and would not fail me because He watches over me.

B B McKinney was the writer and maybe the composer, too. He was used of the Lord to write a LOT of good songs, some we're still singing many years after his death. God bless all who put GOOD words to music, that we may glorify our Father in Heaven,

Woke up this morning with the chorus of this song ringing in my spirit. It's been really rough with all the senseless killings perpetrated by some lunatics in my country. I can't understand why the Lord is not answering the prayers of His children concerning this matter. It has affected me so much. I guess He sent the song to reassure me that He's on the throne and that He cares.

The hymn "Have Faith in God" was still published in the 1975 Baptist Hymnal, which a lot of Southern Baptist churches use, and some still do. It's spoken to me many times and reminds me our God and Father is in control. Glory to His Name!
