Y’all saying till that dying day, I always thought they were saying “to that Zion land”

We sang it this way:

The pastor’s gonna make you welcome, welcome, welcome
The pastor’s gonna make you welcome, welcome, welcome
To that Zion land
Singing…oh glory, oh glory
Singing, oh glory, oh glory
To that Zion land

Then it repeats that pattern , the preachers gonna make you…deacons gonna make you…members gonna make you…etc.

I came looking for the words because something tells me my church is singing the wrong lyrics because it doesn't make sense. Growing up we just sing what we hear others sing but when you become an adult you realize, wait that doesn't make sense. Lol. Our church is saying:

....well the members want to make you welcome, welcome, welcome..... to that DYING land. 🙄

Now it's a debate of the wording to the song. The church is gonna make you welcomed to that Promised Land! Help!

Everybody's gonna make you welcome, welcome, welcome
All the church is go on a make you welcome, welcome, welcome
All the deacons will make you welcome...
Etc.
Welcome to the house of the Lord.
Help!

Welcome,Welcome, then we just start singing the verses,
Oh,the church gonna make you Welcome.....Welcome
And,the church gonna make you Welcome....Welcome,Until,that dying day!
Singing,Oh,Glory,Oh Glory,Oh Glory,Until,Your Dying Day
