Hi Nona Abbott

If you have specific ones in mind you can use the search bar in the upper righthand corner on this page to see if we have them in our archives.
If you can't find them here you can start a new topic and we'll be happy to work at finding the hymns you love

Lord Bless
Nancy

Go to the web page:
http://webpages.charter.net/caneyfork/chart265.htm

And you will find the chart/lyrics to your song.

I'll Drop My Anchor

Life for me, sometimes is so unsettled
the way I have to move and leave my friends
and as I get older, the goodbys they get harder
Someday, hellos will never end

[ and, I'll drop my anchor on the other side of Jordan ]
[ this old, rusty ship will leave the port no more ]
[ I'll never have to say goodby to friends and loved-ones ]
[ for that anchor will hold me, for a million years or more ]

Not for sure if this is the one you want. This is from memory, so if it isn't exactly right don't hold it against me . . . The Kinsmen recorded it, so you might could find it on one of their old albums.

LIFE TO ME SOMETIMES IS SO UNSETTLED
THE WAY WE HAVE TO MOVE AND LEAVE OUR FRIENDS
AS WE GROW OLDER THE GOOBYES THEY GET HARDER
BUT SOMEDAY OUR HELLOS WILL NEVER END

AND I'LL DROP MY ANCHOR ON THE OTHER SIDE OF JORDAN
AND THIS OLD RUSTY SHIP WILL LEAVE THE PORT NO MORE
I'LL NEVER HAVE TO SAY GOODBYE TO FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES
FOR THAT ANCHOR WILL HOLD US FOR A MILLION YEARS AND MORE

NOW I WONDER WHAT THEIR DOING UP IN HEAVEN
ARE THEY BUSY PREPARING OUR NEW HOME
AND DO THEY ASK THE SAVIOUR JUST WHEN WE'LL BE COMING
OH AND DO THEY KNOW IT WON'T BE VERY LONG
