Hi Guest400

If this is the right hymn, it’s The Heavenly Light by Mertle DeGrishe / Alfred Smith
it can be found in the hymnals listed here:
https://hymnary.org/text/theres_a_light ... f_degrishe

I hope this is helpful

Ther's a light in the window of Heaven

My elderly neighbor remembers a hymn from her youth and I am trying to find the complete words for her: "There's a light in the window of Heaven; it shines there for you and for me."
It could be from a Lutheran hymnal. Thanks in advance for any help.
