There are voices calling that want to steal your heart
Backed by gold and silver in the things of Earthly art
Has the catch your year does your sole desire apart
Who has control of your heart

Treasures of this life all around us now we see
Some will follow them and we'll end up shamefully
Have you wished at times that these things for you might be
Who has control of your heart

There are honors given to those who seek for fame
Some use all their talents to play this Earthly game
Would you find some pleasure if they would call your name
Who has control of your heart

Voices are calling yes calling calling
Calling to you calling to you
Voices are calling yes calling calling
Will to the Lord you be true

UPDATE

First verse:
There are voices calling that want to steal your heart,
Backed by gold and silver and the things of earthly art.
As they catch your ear does your soul desire a part?
Who has control of your heart?

Refrain:
Voices are calling.....

Voices are calling (Who has control of your heart)

Looking for the lyrics, but also MIDI or sheet music to a hymn with the lyrics "who has control of your heart". That's the end of the first verse. The chorus consists primarily or entirely of repeating "voices are calling". This is not the one of a similar name by Maria Straub. I most recently heard it as the last track of a (Mennonite?) acapella CD.
