Does anyone have the music to the gospel song The Swinging Hammer?

The Garys or the Spears family had a recording out of this song when I was a kid I remember my mom playing it a lot. Beautiful song.

My Mom often sang this hymn as a soloist in church. Have not thought about it in many, many years. She passed in 1992. Words of the first verse came to me in a dream last night. Could not remember the chorus. Thanks for posting. May I suggest a correction to the last two stanzas of the first verse?
"How they did adore and worship, how they brought him gifts so free
For he was their savior, doomed to die on Calvary..."
That's how she sang it.
That's how it came back to me last night.

As I watch TBN about Jesus dying on the cross, I remembered these albums my grandpa used to play for me probably 38 years ago. It was the same song but I can't remember any of the artist. My grandpa went to Franklin Wesylan Methodist Church and we only used to listen to music for short amounts of time when I would stay with him. Such good memories. The only reason I know about Jesus Christ. My grandfather died in 2001 at the age of 94. I wish I had those albums.

I had looked for this song for many years. My Pastor's wife had wanted the lyrics. She had sung this song in her younger years in Flint, Michigan at South Flint Tabernacle. I see where you posted this in April 2011. I only saw it just now. She passed away last year in May. Oh how I wish I had found this for her before she died.

But, I fully believe she knows the words now.

Long long time ago a Saviour was born in Bethlehem.
There's where they found Him,
those wise and eager men.
How they did adore and worship, How they brought him gifts.
Jesus my savior doomed to die on calvary.

I can hear the swinging hammer
echoing down thru time.
there's where they nailed him
Jesus my lord divine

Way out yonder at Golgatha
there's where they led him to
there's where he finished the work he had to do
i can hear him cry in anguish
Hanging upon that cross
bleeding and dying
to save us all from loss

Way out yonder on Mount Calvary
there's where he died for me
there's where he suffered to set the sinner free
there's where he prayed,
forgive them for they know not what they do
oh how he loved you
can't you learn to love him too

Joseph came and begged his body
to lay it in the tomb
wrapped it in grove clothes
then lying there in gloom
but sing o sing aloud my brother
for the grave could not contain
Jesus our saviour
for he lives and reigns again

o my precious fellow traveler
walking the road of life
how can you reject him
jesus the prince of life
come to him now beleiving
cast upon him your all
leave the world behind you and obey his loving call

Can anyone help me with this old song? The first line is "I can hear the swinging hammer echoing down through time....."
