I remember this. Don't remember the name. I just remember for some reason we had to sing it like 'he told you so, he told you...... so'

A 'hymn' just popped into my head and I'm almost certain I used to sing it at school but haven't been able to find it anywhere, please help.

The line i cam remember is "He told you so, he told you, but you would pay no heed.
He warned you about living, a life of sin, but you thought you knew better, even than him.
