Mary Magdalene
A'cradled in her gloom
Who will roll the stone away?
Who will heal the pain?
Her last farewell no one can tell
The hope that has been slain.
But the stone has gone
So is the one she came looking for
She runs to Simon Peter
They've taken away my Lord
Peter and John out on a run
To where the body had lain
An empty tomb, a hollow cave
And hope is born again

Erase what He's said

Mary! was all He had to call

The news had spread, "He's back from the dead"
Some said it can't be true.
The disciples in confusion
They waited in an upper room
A voice says 'Peace'! Discussion cease
Every face turns white
"Do not fear I'm really here
And everything's alright!"
