one more clue....Baptist Hymn. Also, when you sing the words, "be" sounds like "be e" like you say "e" again after word "be" like holding out the word to end of measure.

It is the last words in the verse. I can hear it in my mind.....especially the words "never be the same." It might be a choir song too. Leaning strongly however to hymn

"i'll never be the same." This phrase I believe is the end of verse or end of the chorus. Definitely "never be the same"
