I'm leaving my troubles on this side of the river

Here I stand on the banks of the river
the waters are so deep and wide
by faith I can see what's over yonder
and I can hardly wait till I get to the other side

cause I'm gonna leave my troubles on this side of the river
I'm gonna lay them down-never pick them up again
and when I get to the other side of the river
I know I'm never gonna see my troubles again

There's only one thing I'll carry over
It's my cross for I can not lay it down
and when I get to the other side of the river
I gotta have my cross to trade it for a crown

Yes, I think that is it! Does anyone know the rest of the song? In one verse it says something about "my cross, and I can not lay it down , But when I get to the other side of the river, I'll trade that old cross for a crown"

Looking for the lyrics to this song. I can remember some of the chorus goes like this; I'm leaving my troubles on this side of the river, gonna lay 'em down, never pick 'em up again...and when I get to the other side of the river I'll never see my troubles again.".. Thanks so much!
