As I live in a world that's fleeting
I am not at home down here
My heart yearns to see my Jesus
He's been so faithful all these years
I am filled with eternal pleasures
as I walk in the path of light
Oh what joy, It can't be measured
With my savior by my side
There are trials that I often face
Jesus is my saving grace
He's my strength and He's my joy
and in His presence I will rejoice
There's joy in the journey as I go along
Each day that I travel I'm closer to home
