IN THE GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE

Jesus said to His disciple sit ye here while I go pray
For His heart was sad and heavy for that ? to pass away

Taking three disciples with Him, He fell down upon the ground
Crying there unto the Father not my will but Thine be done

In the garden of Gethsemane Jesus wept and He prayed for me
Prayed alone while all were sleeping in the garden of Gethsemane

His disciples were so sleepy that they could not pray with Him
and they said it’s my dear Savior to be betrayed by men

Oh good people will you listen think what Christ hath done for thee
Think how much He must have suffered In the garden of Gethsemane

In the garden of Gethsemane Jesus wept and He prayed for me
Prayed alone while all were sleeping in the garden of Gethsemane
