Looking for a 1983/84 gospel song

The song starts with the man telling the story of how a woman who helps another. then her husband dies and send her son over to her house and she doesn't answer the door. then the song Jesus Never Fail is song. It was played very often in N.C. on the gospel stations. What was the group who recorded it. I would love to find it. Thanks so much.
