Re: one step more added verse

I heard this verse from the Hee Haw Gospel Quartet:

Through my Life--- he'll surely guide me
I've no need --to doubt or fear
For each step---- he walks beside me
And my call ---for help he'll hear
All the way ----my load grows lighter
And I'll tell it--- more and more
Heavens lights --for me shine brighter
For it's only ---one step more
(then chorus)

Also they did the chorus like this:
One step more (one step more) From Earth to Heaven
Where our cares will all be over
To that land where crowns are given
For it's only one step more

one step more

Only One Step More

I have known a life of sorrow, I have bourne a heavy load.

And my weary feet have stumbled, on the rough and rocky road.

Soon my burdens will be lifted, soon my trials will be o'er.

Soon my journey will be ended, for it's only one step more.

One step more (one step more) From earth to Heaven

Soon I'll reach (soon I'll reach) That blissful shore

Soon I'll join (soon I'll join) My friends up yonder.

For it's only (yes it's only) One step more.

Jesus told of many mansions, over in the promised-land.

Soon I'll move from this low dwelling, to a house not made with hands.

There I'll live next door to Jesus, and my friends gone on before.

Soon I'll settle in that City, for it's only one step more.

Chorus"¦.

Mother's long been over yonder, she'll be waiting for me too.

She'll be oh so glad to see me, Proud to know that I pulled through.

She will be the first to greet me, when I enter Heaven's door (Heaven's door)

Oh, I'll soon be with you, Mother, for it's only one step more.

Chorus"¦

one step more
