I have been looking for the author of that song and can't find who wrote it.
I contacted the Church in Fowlerville Mi, and am waiting for a call from the pastor.
It is not in their current hymnal.

Come on home, my wandering child, the dayllight hours are past...

Looking for words/music for this song, this is what I remember:

Come on home, my wandering child, the daylight hours are past.
Your Father longs to forgive you...

We used to hear this at the Fowlerville Baptist Church in Fowlerville, MI in the late 70's, earlly 80's...
