He built a bridge?

Ken B, that's exactly the way I remember hearing it sung by the "Valley of Decision" youth choir a number of years ago. Hearing teenagers and, yes, an adult or two, singing a song of praise like this one, was priceless.

It's also in the 1975 edition of the Southern Baptist hymnal. One amusing anecdote: back around 2011, our very small church was blessed to have a teen aged young man who absolutely wanted to lead our singing! He didn't quite know this song (My Faith Has Found A Resting Place) but soldiered on with i...

The song is also in the 1975 Southern Baptist Hymnal, if you can find a copy. Let's pray that the Christians in the part of India who gave us this song are not only staying true to the Lord but that they'll still be making disciples for Jesus!

Requesting help finding "Search Me, O God" by the Life Action singers

This song was recorded on one of their projects from back in the mid-70's. The melody is definitely NOT the Maori (?)-type (no offense intended) version found in most hymnals. Rather, it was almost like a (Gregorian?) chant, ending with "For power, I humbly plead. . .descend on me. . ." An...

I Just Feel Like Something Good Is About To Happen

Our music minister sang this as a medley with "Get All Excited . . ." , also by Bill Gaither Sunday before last. She did a fantastic job!

The song used to be in a number of hymnals from the late 60's/early 70's, IIRC. Oddly enough, one place I've found a number of vintage hymnals is antique stores!

Didn't he shine

Here's a You Tube video (well, a link to it, anyway) by Dallas Holm. I didn't know he sang this song. He's singing it fairly slowly so you might be able to get the lyrics. No idea about the chords or score, though.

Enjoy and be blessed!

Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver also recorded this one, but the only CD I have is a collection of their bluegrass gospel (I love it!) Surprisingly, the song was published in an early 1970's hymnal, small and maroon hardcover, maybe by the Nazarene church. Sadly, I gave the hymnal away to someone else b...

The Cathedral Quartet absolutely sang this one. You should have seen Danny's face just light up when he launched into the chorus!
