looking for words to sveral songs - I have a father, out of his great love, I've got a feelin....

Could this be the song you're looking for (he brings peace to me--old church hymn ) Title: Blessed Quietness Joys are flowing like a river, Since the Comforter has come; He abides with us forever, Makes the trusting heart His home. Refrain Blessèd quietness, holy quietness, What assurance in my sou...

Lyrics to "The Book, The Blood and the Blessed Hope by the Inspirations

I think you can get a CD directly from the Inspirations web site. They do have a lot of good material, and I for one am glad they're still serving the Lord, even after so many years (I first heard of them around 1972!)

That song is, or has been, published in several hymnals. Try the 1975 edition of the Southern Baptist hymnal.

Jesus Is the Cornerstone

Way back around 1977, either Lanny Wolfe or Lari Goss wrote a song called "Jesus Is The Cornerstone" and although I don't remember all the words, this might be another search for you. I sure hope you find the song you're looking for!

Need to find the name or lyrics to this song - Everyboys goin to have a livin in glory

The Cathedral Quartet sang this one too, and you should have seen George Younce, their bass singer, absolutely glow when he sang it! Oh, it was good!

"He's still working on me" KIDS SONG

I remember Joel and Candy Hemphill singing this song (and maybe LaBreeska, too). Don't forget to try and find Doug Oldham's version. It's a blessing!

ends in "I want to be like Jesus"

There are at least a couple of ideas: one source for the lyrics was the Nazarene Hymnal, the edition used in the mid- to late-1970's. Another was an a cappella version sung on "The Light and Life Hour", probably some time earlier. The chorus definitely ends with "I want to be like Jes...

My God is near me all the time

If I'm not mistaken, that song was also published in one of the Southern Baptist hymnals. I don't recall if it was the 1975 or 1988 edition.

Please, I need the lryics to this song!! Wasted Years

I didn't know Jimmy Swaggart sang this one, but years ago, there was a family group (the Goodmans, maybe?) who covered it, too. It's a powerful reminder that this life is all we have to prepare for Heaven. If we want to be ready for the next life, we'll need to be prepared during this life too. I sa...
