I am looking for the words to HE'S THERE WAITING. It's one of the songs from the youth musical TELL IT LIKE IT IS by Kurt Kaiser from the 1960's. Anybody?

He's There Waiting
words & music by Ralph Carmichael

I start another day a-playing out my role
Just doing what I have to don't have much of a goal
The road keeps getting steeper
I'm in a little deeper
With every little lie, every lie

It's all so complicated and useless in a way
And what else can I do now but start another day
And while I'm just existing, hurting, and hating
Little do I realize that He's there waiting

Holding sun and moon and stars up there in space
Changing seasons at the proper time and place
Watching patiently the circles that I run
Waiting now to give new life thru Christ His Son

All at once somehow I got to see
If this love of Christ will really work for me
So I'm not waiting my choice I'm stating
That from this day on I'll make my way on
The high road of Christ where I am free

I think you left out a line:

I start another day a-playing out my role
Just doing what I have to don't have much of a goal
The road keeps getting steeper
But still I've gotta try
I'm in a little deeper
With every little lie, every lie

I started another day, just playing out my role, just doing what I have to, don't have much of a goal. The road keeps getting steeper, but still I've got a strive, I'm in a little deeper, with every little stride, every stride. It's all so complicated, and useless in a way, but what else can I do now but start another day. And while I'm just existing, hurting and hating, little do I realize that God's there waiting. Holding Sun and moon out there in space, changing seasons at the proper time and place waiting patiently the circles that I run, waiting now to bring me Christ his only son. All at once I feel I've got to see, if this new life in Christ will work for me. So I'm not waiting, my choice I'm stating, that from this day on, I'll make my way on, that high road of Christ where I am free
