Jesus Prayed In the Garden for Me

I need the lyrics to a song that I can't find. I think the title is Jesus Prayed In The Garden For Me. Some of the chorus says "Not my will, but thine be done, cried God's only son. Jesus prayed in the garden for me."

Jesus Prayed In the Garden for Me

There's a song called "Neath the Old Olive Trees"--it was in the Broadman Hymnal, and had a green hardcover with white or silver lettering. I literally cut my teeth on one (or more!) of those hymnals while growing up!

I'm winging the lyrics from memory so please forgive me if I'm in error:

(Actually, I'm embarrassed, I can't think of the first verse!)

2nd verse:
All the sins of the world, on the Saviour were hurled,
as He knelt in the dew-laden breeze,
Where no light could be found, Jesus knelt on the ground,
And He knelt 'neath the old olive trees

CHO: Neath the old, olive trees, neath the old, olive trees
Went the Saviour alone on His knees
"Not My will, Thine be done" cried the Father's own Son
As He knelt, neath the old olive trees

My mother is still living, and I can still remember her sweet voice singing the soprano to that song. She meant business for God then, and still does now!

I think this is the one. Word by B.B. McKinney.

1:
'Neath the stars of the night
Walked the Savior of light,
In the garden of dew ladened breeze;
Where no light could be found,
Jesus knelt on the ground,
There He prayed 'neath the old olive trees.

Chorus:
'Neath the old olive trees,
'Neath the old olive trees,
Went the Savior alone on His knees:
"Not My will, Thine be done,"
cried the Father's own Son,
As He knelt 'neath the old olive trees.

2:
All the sin of the world
On the Savior was hurled,
As He knelt in the garden alone;
Hear His soul burdened plea,
Let this cup pass from Me,
"Even so, not My will, Thine be done."

3:
May my song ever be
Of the love proffered me,
By my Lord all alone on His knees;
Praise His wonderful name,
He who bore all my blame,
As He knelt 'neath the old olive trees.
