Good evening, just found your website and was intrigued by your venture. I'm searching for the lyrics to 5 songs and I hope I am at least close on the titles. Here goes: "Have a Little Talk With Jesus", "Good Ole' Gospel Ship", "The Old Rugged Cross", "I'll Fly Away" and "It's Me Again Lord". Not at all sure about the title to the last one but the words go something like this "It's me again, Lord, I've got a prayer that needs an answer. It's me again Lord, I've got a problem I can't solve..."
Thanks your all your help. I know God is smiling on your attempts.

Hi ClaraF,
Tall order, but many of those are my favorites Here you go:
"Have a Little Talk With Jesus"
1.
I once was lost in sin but Jesus took me in,
And then a little light from Heaven filled my soul;
It bathed my heart in love and wrote my name above,
And just a little talk with Jesus made me whole.
Chorus
Now let us have a little talk with Jesus.
Let us tell Him all about our troubles.
He will hear our faintest cry
And He will answer by and by.
Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning,
Then you'll know a little fire is burning.
You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right.
2.
Sometimes my path seems drear, without a ray of cheer,
And then a cloud of doubt may hide the light of day;
The mists of sin may rise and hide the starry skies,
But just a little talk with Jesus clears the way.
Chorus
3.
I may have doubts and fears, my eyes be filled with tears,
But Jesus is a friend who watches day and night;
I go to Him in prayer, He knows my ev'ry care,
And just a little talk with Jesus makes it right.
Chorus
=====
"Good Ol' Gospel Ship"
1.
I have good news to bring and that is why I sing
All my joy with you I will share
I'm gonna take a trip on that old gospel ship
And go sailin' through the air
Chorus
Oh, I'm gonna take a trip on that old gospel ship
I'm going far beyond the sky
I'm gonna shout and sing until the heavens [or "bells do"] ring
When I go sailing through the sky
2.
If you are ashamed of me, you have no cause to be
For with Christ, I am an heir.
If too much fault you find, you'll sure be left behind
When I'm sailing through the air
Chorus
3.
Oh, I can hardly wait, I know I won't be late
I'll spend all my time in prayer
And when my ship comes in, I will leave this world of sin
And go sailing through the air
Chorus
=====
"The Old Rugged Cross"
1.
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suffering and shame;
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
Refrain
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.
2.
O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.
Refrain
3.
In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see,
For 'twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
To pardon and sanctify me.
Refrain
4.
To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He'll call me some day to my home far away,
Where His glory forever I'll share.
Refrain
=====
"I'll Fly Away"
1.
Some glad morning when this life is o'er, I'll fly away;
To a home on God's celestial shore, I'll fly away (I'll fly away).
Chorus
I'll fly away, Oh Glory
I'll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away).
2.
When the shadows of this life have gone, I'll fly away;
Like a bird from prison bars has flown, I'll fly away (I'll fly away).
Chorus
3.
Just a few more weary days and then, I'll fly away;
To a land where joy shall never end, I'll fly away (I'll fly away).
Chorus
=====
"It's Me Again Lord".
1.
Troubles come and I can't find an answer
Lonely nights I spend in agony
I have no other friend that I can turn to
So here I am Lord back on my knees.
Chorus:
It's me again Lord, I've got a prayer that needs an answer
It's me again Lord, I've got a problem I can't solve
Well I don't mean to worry you but here I am facing something new
And I need help that only comes from You, it's me again Lord.
2.
Well I know You're mighty busy in Your Heaven
Forming worlds and hanging stars to shine
But You promised if I'd ask I'd receive it
So here I am Lord asking one more time.
Chorus
Whew Hope this helps. God bless!
