It was in the 50's when there was a song which named all of the disciples. Does anyone know the name of it?

Hi Cloy101047,

Is this is? The title is "There Were Twelve Disciples". Found this over on Cyberhymnal:

There were twelve disciples Jesus called to help him:
Simon Peter, Andrew, James, his brother John,
Philip, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus,
Thaddeus, Simon, Judas, and Bartholomew.
He has called us, too. He has called us, too.
We are His disciples, I am one and you!
He has called us, too. He has called us, too.
We are His disciples, I am one and you!

God bless!

This is a song I found and the kids class at our Sunday School would sing. It's an easy way to remember the 12 Disciples names.

TWELVE DISCIPLES
(Tune: "Jesus Loves Me")

Jesus called them one by one,
Peter, Andrew, James and John,
Next came Philip, Thomas too,
Matthew and Bartholomew.

Chorus:
Yes, Jesus called them,
Yes, Jesus called them,
Yes, Jesus called them,
He called them one by one.

James the one they called the less,
Simon, also Thaddeus,
Twelfth apostle Judas made,
Jesus was by him betrayed.

Chorus:
Yes, Jesus called them,
Yes, Jesus called them,
Yes, Jesus called them,
He called them one by one
