Need the lyrics for--->I'd Rather Know That I Had Jesus***Not the song I'd rather have Jesus. They are 2 different songs

Just looking for the lyrics for a song which is named "I'd Rather Know That I Had Jesus". And I don't know the group which sings it.

There is a song which is called I rather have Jesus, I am not looking for the lyrics for that song.

Here is refrain I do think

I'd rather know that I have Jesus,
and that He is My Dearest Friend.
Than to have the finest things this world could offer,
and still not have this peace within.

Hi Nancy, I have tried to find another recording of this song, I just found the same video, you have posted. And tried to find another copy of the lyrics, to, however was not there, either.

Then tried to listen to some times, and I am coming blank, too.

Really like the lyrics, you did get.

Thank you so much for your detective work and encouragement.
When you were listening to the song, did you even get one word I didn't ?
The reason I'm asking is it takes going over and over and over the parts I can't get
and then all of a sudden I'll understand the one word that opens up the whole phrase.
So if you and the rest of us can work on this it would mean a lot to me personally

I have been looking for the words to this song too.cant remember who wrote it...Its not on Google
