There is a song that I can not seem to find anywhere. I think Rick Johnson and Spirit Wind sang it, at least covered it. What little bit of the chorus I can remember goes;
If you're just waist high, then you still have pride, better not lose control. Wade a little farther into deeper water, caught up in the undertow

Anyone ever heard it?

some little niggling in the far reaches of my mind make me think this could be part of an old Hinson's song. you may want to try that route???
