the last words my poppa said (sang) to me was "do not be afraid i am with you i have called you by the name you are mine". he was unconcious - dying from cancer. i was sitting with him when he suddenly woke and said/sang this to me. he died the next day. i am more comforted by this than i am saddened as it is a beautiful hymn.

ok.. sorry for the late post.. but I was actually looking to hear this song on youtube but coud not find it.. but here is the Contemporary song that I remember from about 15 years ago when I was singing on the church choir.

It goes something like this...
