Hi Faith,

Here are the words to "Morning Has Broken", lyrics by Eleanor Farjean:

1.
Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for them springing fresh from the word

2.
Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where his feet pass

3.
Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day

Not sure, but "Give Me Joy in My Heart" might be the same lyrics as "Give Me Oil in My Lamp". See here for those lyrics:

Here it is, it is by Andrae Crouch

Chorus 1
Thank You Lord
I just want to thank You
I just want to thank You
Thank You Lord
I just want to thank You
I just want to thank You

Verse 1
There were ten men in the Bible days
They had been sick for so very long
But one day Jesus passed their way
And when He spoke
Their disease was healed that day
But they all went on their merry merry way
And only one returned and said
I've got something to say
He said I just want to take
To take a little time right now
And thank the Lord
For all He's done for me
I just want to take
To take a little time right now
And thank the Lord
For all He's done for me

Verse 2
What the Lord means to you
Maybe I can't see
But this one thing I know
He's everything to me yes He is
I remember the times when a job
For me was so hard to find
Still the Lord made a way for me
Just in the nick of time
When I was sick and the doctor
Said I couldn't get well
But the Lord healed my body
And today I am able to tell
That's why I say that I just want
To take to take a little time
Right now to say thank You Lord
For all He's done for me
I just want to take
To take a little time right now
And thank the Lord
For all He's done for me

Misc 1
(ENDING)
Thank You Lord
I want to thank You
Thank You Lord
I want to thank You Lord
Thank You Lord
Thank You Lord

Hello, regarding Morning has broken, i seem to remember a portion where we sing
"in ears that hear me, in eyes that see me, Christ ever be."
i can't find lyrics that state this portion.
can anyone help me?

Actually, those lyrics are from a completely separate hymn, which happens to be set to the same music "Bunessan".

Words are adapted from 'St. Patrick's Breastplate' by James Quinn

Christ be beside me, Christ be before me,
Christ be behind me. King of my heart.
Christ be within me, Christ be below me,
Christ be above me, never to part.

Christ on my right hand, Christ on my left hand,
Christ all around me, shield in the strife.
Christ in my sleeping, Christ in my sitting,
Christ in my rising, light of my life.

Christ be in all hearts thinking about me,
Christ be in all tongues telling of me.
Christ be the vision in eyes that see me;
in ears that hear me, Christ ever be.

God bless!
