Micah Henson was a a tremendous song writer, but he did not write this song. This song was written long before Micah was born.

i know the northern bound girls sing this song in their cd "In Christ Alone", they are really good...i reccomend it to ya'll..

This is a beautiful song, and the way I have heard it sung before was so full of passion. Sorry I don't know the cords myself, but I can hear it playing in my mind right now.

the chorus makes more sense to me if you sing it:
And I owe it all to You, Lord
All I have is Yours, Lord.
Take my life and make me what You'd have me be.
I'm the clay and You're the Potter,
I'm Your child, You're my Father.
Lord, You're the best thing that's ever happened to me.

It just seems that after you say the line, "Take my life and MAKE me what You'd have me be" should be followed by the line , "I'm the clay, You're the Potter", then followed by the climatic line "I'm Your child, You're my Father", because poetic rule- keep the thought going in the same line....
So, that's how I sing it.
