"Jesus is the Answer,
What a friend is He,
God's Beloved Son,
Who died on Calvary."?

I remember singing one in VBS as a child...not sure if Iām correct but this is what I remember:
"Jesus is the Answer,
What a friend is He,
God's Beloved Son,
Who died on Calvary."
He gives my life meaning,
And I want to share his love with Jesus and my friends every where.
I want to walk with him and talk with him
And follow in his ways
Grow in him and keep my life
In goodness everyday.

THANK YOU! I so appreciate your taking the time to show those lyrics. I am making a scrapbook for my son and I kept having the first two lines go through my head with the tune but I couldn't remember the rest of the lyrics. Now it is all coming back.

Based on an old video of my sister singing. Maybe there are more than one version

I found my VBS workbook from "Jesus is My Answer." It was a VBS curriculum from Standard Publishing from 1984. I have posted a photo of the song with its lyrics and musical notation to Pinterest, where it can be viewed.

I tried to go the the Pinterest site without success. I would love to have the lyrics and musical notation so I could teach it to the folks on Sunday Evening next time I lead the evening music service. any suggestions?
