Please help... I have been trying to find the verses to this song.
I believe the chorus goes like this...

Mercy, mercy, God's love and mercy.
That extends both to you, you and me.
Oh, If we had gotten justice, we would surely be lost.
But we found mercy when we knelt at the cross.

Can anyone tell me how the verses go for this song? I know the chorus - I just can't remember the verses. It would be helpful if someone knew the chords or new someone who sings it.

Verse 1

Verse 2
I was a sinner lost and alone
When God in his mercy looked down from heaven's throne
There at that old altar I bowed so depressed
But God gave me mercy when my sins I confessed.

There is a third verse but I can't remember it but I always heard the Looper Trio sing it when I was a child. I never heard the second verse the other person on here listed. Hope this helps!
