It serves only to remind me why

Post by niki1 » Tue Jun 09, 2020 12:49 am

Looking for singer and person who wrote this song...As far as the north is from the south, there stood a rugged cross. As far as the east is from the west, my Savior paid the cost. Upon a lonely hill, He obeyed His father's will though He prayed let this cup pass from me. He said Father I commend my spirit unto thee.

I asked the reason why, why He gave His life, for my sin. Though He didn't know my name, yet He loved me just the same. So how could I forget, how could I forget all He has done. It serves only to remind me why, my savior died.

and so forth. Anyone know the singer or composer? Much thanks
