I'm looking to find out who wrote an old hymn my mom used to sing. I believe the title is "When I Kneel" or "I'll Always Remember When I Kneel" The first verse and chorus are below. If anyone can help me track down the author of this song I would be forever grateful.

He wasn't born a sinful man the I was
but how I thank him for all his love
He didn't die the way I will but gave his life for all
that through his blood, life I have still

I thank you Lord for all you did
for all my sins you forgive
help me to always do thy will
So all that happened on Golgotha's very lonely hill
I'll always remember when I kneel

Hello All,
My Aunt confirmed! My Mom wrote this song too! Here are the complete lyrics:

He wasn't born a sinful man the I was
but how I thank him for all his love
He didn't die the way I will but gave his life for all
that through his blood, life I have still

I thank you Lord for all you did
for all my sins you forgive
help me to always do thy will
So all that happened on Golgotha's very lonely hill
I'll always remember when I kneel

You'll never know the joy I feel until you kneel
And let the Lord fill your heart with love
And when he comes in the clouds to take his children home
You'll be so glad eternal life you will have

Oh yes, I thank you Lord for all you did
for all my sins you forgive
help me to always do thy will
So all that happened on Golgotha's very lonely hill
I'll always remember when I kneel

Thank you everyone for your help. I will follow up on these songs once I release the album. This is such a wonderful forum. Thank you to whoever is running this behind the scenes.
