Hi, I am looking for the lyrics and possible name of an old hymn, I think the chorus is...Hallelujah, I have found Him, whom my soul so long hath craved, Jesus satisfies my longing, through His blood I now am saved.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Guest,

Here are the lyrics. Words by Clara T. Williams, music by Ralph E. Hudson.

1.
All my life I had a longing
For a drink from some clear spring,
That I hoped would quench the burning
Of the thirst I felt within.

Refrain
Hallelujah! I have found Him
Whom my soul so long has craved!
Jesus satisfies my longings,
Through His blood I now am saved.

2.
Feeding on the husks around me,
Till my strength was almost gone,
Longed my soul for something better,
Only still to hunger on.

Refrain

3.
Poor I was, and sought for riches,
Something that would satisfy,
But the dust I gathered round me
Only mocked my soul's sad cry.

Refrain

4.
Well of water, ever springing,
Bread of life so rich and free,
Untold wealth that never faileth,
My Redeemer is to me.

Refrain

Hello!
The first stanza is incorrect. I realize that the version you posted above contains a more modern interpretation of the words. Those who have grown up hearing this hymn in church will be more familiar with the original wording. It more properly reads:

All my life long I had panted for a drink from some clear spring,...

Thank you,

Satisfied with me
one glorious day Jesus came and made me whole
he so compleaty then satisified my soul
as I face life's dark troubled sea
I wounder if he is satisfied with me
choris
I want my lord to be satisfied with me
I want my life to be what he'd have it be
and when i come to thar great eternity
his smile will say he is satisfied with me

Lord give me strenth give me courage make me whole
that I might lead some lost sheep into the fold
that I might stand unafraid unmoved for thee
that you might be fully satisfied with me
Try this version-God Bless
