This is a beautiful song, I love it. It was written by Jim Eanes and Beulah C. Hiatt. If you have" Rhapsody" on your computer, you can hear Jim Eanes
singing his own song.

This song was actually stolen. I know the original writer. He is a banjo player from Kentucky and is around 80 years old. He says he doesn't care that his song was stolen because it has been a blessing to so many people.

His name is Edsel Blevins.

I sang this song as they put me to sleep for a liver transplant; and woke up singing it after surgery. I thought if I went to sleep with a song in my heart I would wake up with one, and sure enough it worked. this was a blessing to me at that time in my life. I was not sure of a tommorrow.
