I have been looking for these lyrics for a very long time. My mother sang this song when I was a child and all I could remember was the chorus. THANK YOU!!!

I am also happy to get these words. I've sang the chorus since a little girl - and now I'm old. ha ha Is the melody for the verses, the same as the chorus? Can anyone post the chords for the song?
Thanks in advance!

The lyrics I have, all but verse 3, are a little different. There is a women that has been singing this song for more than forty years and I had to play for her one Sunday at church and that's how I got them. Didn't know if anybody had heard these are not but thought I would help out. God Bless!

Verse: 1
A woman one day, tried many physicians,
her trouble grew worse, in the bible we're told,
one day when she heard, she came to Jesus,
and found what she needed for body and soul.

Chorus:
If I could just touch, the hem of his garment,
if I could just touch, some part of his clothes,
I know I'd be healed, my sins all forgiven,
if I could just touch him I know I'd be whole.

Verse: 2
Blind Bartimus set, by the wayside a begging,
nobody to help him on life's weary way,
then Jesus came by, and he heard his crying,
he touched his blind eyes and he healed him that day.

I truly hope this helps someone!

Does anyone know if this is the same song that The Carpenters Tool sang on (GMT) Gospel Music Television? If so, I would love to have a copy of this on mp3 you may send it to [email protected]

I'm sorry but my great uncle Glenn Rice wrote the song. He had problems with plegerism before he assed away 2 years ago. My uncle Wayne Rice has the rights to the lyrics nd bye the bye no one has the third verse written here.
I've sung the song since I was ablut 10 years old, and I am n ow 62.
