I can be reached at [email protected] if you are interested in getting the third verse. I will put you in touch with the party that has the legal rights to the song and the last verse.

Nicodemus came to Jesus by night,
His eyes were blinded to the things that were right.
He could not understand how a man when he's old
Could be born of God's Spirit, have life for his soul.

This is a very beautiful song. A man at my church sang it last night. I think that anyone that wants to sing it in God's house is welcome to do so since HE owns the rights to everything we have and gave the writer/composer the gift to write it. As long as it is not being recorded and sold, and passed off as one's own work, then plagiarism is not an issue. The only use of this song should be to glorify God Almighty! Thanks to those who provided the various lyrics.

Blessings to all!!!

This is what I have for this song. I hope it helps and may God bless.

If I Could Just Touch The Hem Of His Garment

Verse: 1
A woman one day, tried many physicians,
her trouble grew worse, in the bible we're told,
one day when she heard, she came to Jesus,
and found what she needed for body and soul.

Chorus:
If I could just touch, the hem of his garment,
if I could just touch, some part of his clothes,
I know I'd be healed, my sins all forgiven,
if I could just touch him I know I'd be whole.

Verse: 2
Blind Bartimus set, by the wayside a begging,
nobody to help him, on life's weary way,
then Jesus came by, and he heard his crying,
he touched his blind eyes and he healed him that day.

Verse: 3
Nicodemus came to, see Jesus by night,
his eyes were so blinded to the things that were right,
he could not see how, that a man when he's old,
could be born again and have life for his soul.

Verse: 4
One day as I sat, by the wayside a begging,
nobody to help me, down life's weary way,
then Jesus came by, and he heard my crying,
he reached down his hand and he saved me that day.
