I remember this song barely but I think the chorus goes like this(somewhere I have the sheet music for this song)

thats neat that someone else is also searching for that song besides me. my family also sang that song in the early 80s. i havent heard it in yrs! i was hoping to find it on youtube but so far no luck.thanks for lyrics

I, too, am looking for the sheet music to this song. My family first heard the song as sung by the gospel quartet named "The Harmony Four". And they sang it the Guest Posted: 14 Sep 2010 04:57.

I would be so happy to find the sheet music to have or buy for this song (and about three dozen others LOL).

Any assistance is greatly welcomed!!

The Kingsmen sang this song back in the late 70's or early 80's. You might try their office to see if they have any old records.

I have the album & MP3 of the song "Joshua" that the McDonalds (gospel group) sang in the early 70s that follows the general lyrics above:

Chorus:

My mother had a record when I was little! It had this song on it. The name of the group that sang it was the Centrells. Our house burned and I have looked high and low for this group, this song ANYTHING!! It's not out there.

'Annetomsik ' If you'll will go to Song of the Day"The Walls Came TumblingDown" you can find the exact words. I grew up all my life in church and around singing. I know the longing that it brings for even a small remembrance of a sermon,singin' ,baptism,homecomin' ,dinner on the ground,or? even a funeral. Well,you'll be blessed.
