I can only remember the first part of the song. Sorry but it does start off....

I want to hear really want to hear.
But the sounds of the world loudly ring in my ear.
And the voice of The Lord that is calling me near, only whispers.

Which is the world's voice which is thine,
Which voice is offering a message divine
How can I know If I pay no heed to the shepherd.

Chorus:
I have his promise but I my choice to be of his fold is to hear his voice
Knock and he'll open ask and receive of the shepherd.

And that is sadly all I remember from memorizing it almost ten years ago!
Hope that helps someone else remember a bit more. I personally would enjoy having the whole song once again.
