I was able to find two versions. Here they are:

1.
Preaching by the roadside, under a tree;
Folks come along and make a mock of me.
They say we're crazy, soon we'll meet our fate,
But now we've churches in every state.

Chorus
Somewhere in glory you'll find me;
You'll find me, yes, you'll find me.
Somewhere in glory you'll find me
Singing and shouting in eternity.

2.
While I am resting beneath the sun,
My home is ready [at] the right hand of God.
The angels are holding my robe and crown
While Gabriel is ready, trumpet to sound.

VERSION 2:

1.
Preaching by the roadside under a tree.
People came along made a mock of me.
They say I'm crazy because I sing and shout.
but I have something to shout about.

Chorus
Somewhere in glory you'll find me.
You'll find me, yes you'll find me.
Somewhere in glory you'll find me
Singing and a shouting through out eternity.

2.
People they won't own us and turn us away.
Would give anything just to hear Jesus say
"Welcome to glory you faithful and true.
Enter there in there's a mansion for you."

3.
When I am sleeping under the sod.
Waiting to stand at the right hand of God.
Angels are holding a robe and a crown.
Gabriel is waiting his trumpet to sound.

4.
If you don't see me when you enter the door.
Keep on a searching there on heaven's shore.
I'll be there waiting and watching for you.
Come right on in and praise Jesus too.

Hope one of these is it. God bless!
Steve

I Bowed On My Knees And Cried Holy

Verse: 1
I dream of a city called glory, so bright and so fair,
when I enter the gates I cried holy, the angels all met me there,
they carried me from mansion to mansion, and oh the sights I saw,
then I said I want to see Jesus, the one who died for all.

Chorus:
Then I bowed on my knees and cried holy, holy, holy,
I clapped my hands and sang glory, glory to the son of God.

Verse: 2
As I entered the gates of that city, my loved ones all knew me well,
they took me down the streets of heaven, the scenes to many to tell,
I saw Abraham, Jacob and Isaac, Mark and Timothy,
but I said I want to see Jesus the one who died for me.

My mother who has been dead 50 years, would sing this song. I've looked for so long for the words to the song. Thanks so much for helping me find them.
God bless you,
Maxine

Hello,
My daughter lived in Kentucky for four years and learned of this song . Her friends family sang it a lot. When she came back home to N.C. she forgot about it for a long time then got to missing it . she told me to try to find it. Praise God that you have put the words on the net so others can also have the words to this song.
God Bless, Norma and Tonia
