vs 1) The news came to Jesus / please (come fast. Lazarus is sick and without Your help he will not last. Mary and Martha/watched their brother die They waited for Jesus- He didn't come. They wondered why.

vs 2) The death watch was over; buried four days.
Somebody said He'll soon be here
The Lord's on His way,
Martha ran to Him/and then she cried
"Lord if You had been here- You could have healed him. He'd still be alive.

Cho) But You're four days late; and all hope is gone.
Lord-we don't understand why You've waited so long."
But His way is God's way.
It's not yours or mine
But isn't it great when He's four days late- He's still on time!

vs 3) Jesus said, "Martha show Me the grave."
But she said, "Lord You don't understand- he's been there four days!"
The grave stone was rolled back.
Then Jesus cried, "Lazarus! Come forth!"
Then somebody said, "He's ALIVE! He's ALIVE!"

vs 4) Now, you may be fighting a battle of fear
You've cried to the Lord "I need You now!" But He has not appeared.

Vs. !) Twenty years of married life a home a job and kids he left it all to find himself for freedom he thought he'd missed but the opened tarms of wife and chrildren pulled him back home again, the world says this home won't mend but God says you (I THINK THIS IS "IT CAN)" can.

Chours: If God says you can you can do anything put your trust in him and just believe he'll work it out somehow When you find yourself starting over again begin by putting it all in his hands Though the world says you cant God says you can.

Vs. 2 Pressures of life will bring you down, till you've passed the point of coping No comfort you'll find on the left or right No reason left for hoping The outlook is grim but not according to him He' s always got a better plan, the world stays you'll never stand but God says you can.
