I am looking for who wrote the song "On the Winning Side"

Here are the lyrics

Once I drifted out in sin, had no hope nor joy within,
And my soul was brurdened down with pride;
Then my Savior came along and he showed me I was wrong and
Now I know I'm on the winning side

From the straight and narrow wayi was drifting every day,

I think this is an older song. It was one of Dr. Curtis Hutson's favorites that he would sing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

it was written by Charles Wesley Naylor 1874-1950 Very old song!

This song can be found in the hymn book done by North Valley Baptist Church in Santa Clara California. This is a favorite song of mine and in our church`s youth group.

This song below was actually written and composed by Hale Reeves 1965 and was reprinted in a Stamps-Baxter song book.
