does anyone know the words to, " I'm too far upon my journey friend to ever,
Think of turning back into this world of sin,
Well, I may not be the first one in the kingdom,
but I"ll be so glad if I can only enter in"

I onlly have two verses and here they are,I hope they are a little help

I'm too far upon my journey, now to ever
Think of turning back into this world of sin.
Though I may not be the first one in the Kingdom
I'm determined I shall surely make in

Now it isn't to the one who prays the loudest
Or to the one who speaks his words the best
But 'tis promised to the true and the faithful
To the one who overcomes and stands the test

(These are the words I have :)

I'M TOO FAR UPON MY JOURNEY Key: F 6/8
As sang by Jessie Enloe, 1960's

1. Oh, sometimes I'm burdened down with gloom and sadness,
Thinking of the ones that's in this world and lost.
This I say within my heart, 'Oh, Blessed Savior,
'Take me through, whatever then shall be the cost.'

Chorus:
I'm too far upon my journey, friends to ever
Think of turning back into this world of sin.
Though I may not be the first one in God's kingdom,
I'll be glad if I can only make it in.

2. It's so dangerous to have your vision covered,
It's dangerous to have a carnal mind.
But if you follow in the footsteps of the Savior,
Heaven then can be yours, the same as mine.

3. It's not always to the one who prays the loudest,
Or to the one who says their words the best.
But the promise for the true, and to the faithful,
And to the one who meets and overcomes the test.
