is this what you are looking for

THREE MEN ON A MOUNTAIN

CHORUS: Three men on a mountain
Up on Calvary
But the man in the middle was Jesus
He died for you and me

The man on the right was a sinner man, tied to the cross he bled
He could have been forgiven, but he mocked the Lord instead
You say you are the Son of God, They nailed you to that tree
Come down, come down and save us, if God your father be

CHORUS: Three men on a mountain
Up on Calvary
But the man in the middle was Jesus
He died for you and me

The man on the left was a sinner too, but he was sorry for his sins
He begged the Lord's forgiveness, and Jesus said to him
Fear not, fear not, this is the day, before this day is o'er
You'll be with me in paradise on Heaven's golden shore

I remember a song called the "Man on the Middle Cross" from my childhood. I, too, am searching for all the lyrics, but there is what I can recall. There is at least one more verse which I don't have.

Three crosses stood on a lonely hill
where three were crucified.
There was one without shame on the middle cross
and a thief on either side.

rynn

(chorus)O the man on the middle cross was my Lord
Dying to save me from loss.
Sinless and blameless I see him now
Looking down from the middle cross.

On Calvary's dark hill where the crosses stood
My Savior in anguish sighed,
"Father, oh father forgive them now."
Came the cry from the middle cross.

verse 3 to the man on the middle cross
In anguish and shame He suffered there
To save the world from loss
For the sins of the world He bled and died
All alone on the middle cross.

Man on the Middle Cross

The man on the middle cross, His name is Jesus
The man on the middle cross, oh, He died for my sins,
The man on the middle cross, He's the Savior of this world,
The man on the middle cross, He reigns within

He was in middle, two thieves at His side
One was pardoned, sent to Paradise
Oh, yes, it was the Son of God
Who forgave him of his sin so vast
Yet, you and I will hesitate and carry such heavy load,
Well our lives can only be made complete by the man on the middle cross.

The man on the middle cross, His name is Jesus
The man on the middle cross, oh, He died for my sins,
The man on the middle cross, He's the Savior of this world,
The man on the middle cross, He reigns within me.

He took my sins, turned my life around,
Make me find such peace of mind
I'll reccomend Him to the whole wide world
To serve Him as the days go by
Such bliss in Him I just can't explain
Oh yes, He's a friend of mine
Come taste and see the Lord is good
A Savior to all mankind.

The man on the middle cross, His name is Jesus
The man on the middle cross, oh, He died for my sins,
The man on the middle cross, He's the Savior of this world,
The man on the middle cross, He reigns and lives within me.

(spoken)
Yes, my friends, I'm talking about the man who writes the final chapter.
I'm talking about the man who can take your broken heart and mend it.
I'm talking about the life-giver, the life-taker, the sea-walker, the dead-raiser.
I'm talking about the man that sits on the circle of the earth.
I'm talking about Jesus Christ.

The man on the middle cross, His name is Jesus
The man on the middle cross, oh, He died for my sins,
The man on the middle cross, He's the Savior of this world,
The man on the middle cross, He reigns within.

The man on the middle cross, His name is Jesus
The man on the middle cross, oh, He died for my sins,
The man on the middle cross, He's the Savior of this world,
The man on the middle cross, He reigns within me
Oh Jesus, yeah, He lives within me, reigns within me.

I don't know where the third verse mentioned came from, but here are the words as I have used them for almost 40 years.

Three crosses once stood on a lonely hill
where three were crucified.
There was one without blame on the middle cross
and a thief on either side.

(Ch) O the man on the middle cross was my Lord
Dying to save me from loss.
Sinless and blameless I see him now
Looking down from the middle cross.

On Calvary's dark hill where the crosses stood
My Savior in anguish tossed,
"Father, oh Father forgive them now."
Came the cry from the middle cross.
