My mother and I are looking for the title, words &/or music for the old hymn containing the words "I am amazed that God could ever love me." We remember singing it long ago (at least 35-40 years ago) in church.

I am amazed that God could ever love me,

I haven't heard this song in at least 15 to 20 years...but it occasionally comes to mind. Thanks for sharing it.

I'm glad you shared this. It has been coming into my mind over the last few days, because that's how I have been feeling. I looked in all my hymnbooks this morning - I remember seeing it in one - but none of them had it, so I decided to look it up on the internet. I remember the tune perfectly, so it was easy for me to put it together. Thank you.

I too was looking for the lyrics to this wonderful hymn. Thank you so much for sharing it. My deceased sister sang it when she came to know Jesus as her Savior and it just popped into my head the other day. I have been trying to put the words together and almost had it! Yes, it's been 35 years ago since I've heard it last. Thank you!
