looking for a song title - he will rise again
I'm not sure, because I can only remember the chorus.
looking for a song title - he will rise again
Rise Again
Go ahead, drive the nails in my hands
Laugh at me where you stand.
Go ahead and say it isn't me,
The day will come when you will see.
'Cause I'll rise again.
Ain't no power on earth can tie me down.
Oh yes, I'll rise again.
Death can't keep me in the ground.
Go ahead and mock my name,
My love for you is still the same.
Go ahead and bury me,
But very soon I will be free.
'Cause I'll rise again.
Ain't no power on earth can tie me down.
Yes, I'll rise again.
Death can't keep me in the ground.
Go ahead and say I'm dead and gone,
You will see that you were wrong.
Go ahead, try to hide the Son,
But all will see that I'm the one.
Because I'll rise again.
Ain't no power on earth can keep me back.
Yes, I'll rise again.
Come to take my people back.
And I'll rise again.
Ain't no power on earth can tie me down.
Yes, I'll rise again.
Death can't keep me in the ground.
This is the lyrics in the song mentioned. Hope it is what you are looking for.

looking for a song title - he will rise again
Sorry but that's not what I'm looking for. The song that I'm looking for has "he will rise again" not "I will rise again." Also I don't think that it as "death can't keep me in the ground." It's a sad sounding song. The last time I heard the song was in church as a kid and that was about 20 years ago.
looking for a song title - he will rise again
I heard that hymn about 35 years ago at St. John Chrysostom in Wallingford, Pa during Easter Sunday Mass. It Was sung by a woman with a beautifully angelic voice. Would love to hear it again. If you find your answer, please post it here. Thanks.

The song is , Up To Jerusalem, and I'm looking for a recorded version to hear. I have to play it at guitar Mass and have never heard it before.
looking for a song title - he will rise again
No "Up To Jerusalem" is not the title of the song. It's a sad sounding song that has "and he will rise again, he will rise again on the third day, rejoice, be glad" as the chorus and has as I think as part of a verse "up to the hill of skulls or something or other my lord goes to die." I lonelytears need help finding this hymn.
