Does anyone have the music for "Longing for Jesus to Come Back"? Any idea who wrote the song? I am trying to find the song in a book or sheet music???

has anybody found the lyrics of the song i've been searching? It goes like this, Savior dear o let me ever be a shining star for Thee..... that I want of Jesus there.
Shall I find some stars I wonder......

thank you all so much for that information on that wonderful song my mother used to sing that song in church when my father was a preacher back in the 50's i love that old song thank you again so much ..may god bless you all .....

'Longing for Jesus" Key: G 4/4
W & M by Ione McPherson (1937)

This is the song I thought of in 1997 when I began transcribing words to songs I know. This I also learned from my Dad. I have found that singing it is more of a blessing to me than simply playing the notes as they were written.
I sing it in G, but I am a bass (baritone) and I like to sing where it's more comfortable for me. It might sound better in Ab.
