Come As You Are

Hi, I am looking for a hymn I thought was called 'Come As You Are' but I'm having difficulty searching for it. It may be that this was the chorus of the hymn. Any help would be appreciated. Many Thanks

This may not be the song you are looking for, but hopefully it might. This may not even be considered a religious song. Just trying to help someone in need.

Jaci Velasquez - Come As You Are lyrics
You are the reason
For blue in the sky
Yes, you are the reason why
Snow covers winter
And melts into spring
And rivers meet the sea

God is here for you
And you were made for him
He'll give you more of everything
Cause he has always loved you
His promises are true, so true
If you

Chorus:
Come as you are
Don't change a thing
Open your heart
He'll walk right in
Come as you are
No alibis
His love for you
Will never die

There is a heaven
Open your eyes
And there you have no disguise
He'll never leave you
No need to hide
He's always by your side

If you just believe
There is a way you'll see
It's just one step to eternity
And he will always love you
This promise will be true, so true
If you

Repeat chorus

Come As You Are

Come as you are, that's how I want you
Come as you are, feel quite at home
Come to my heart, loved and forgiven
Come as you are, why stand alone?
No need to fear, love sets no limits
No need to fear, love never ends
Don't run away, ashamed and disheartened
Rest in my love, trust me again
I came to call sinners, not just the virtuous
I came to bring peace, not to condemn
Each time you fail, to live by my promise
Why do you think, I'd love you the less?
Come as you are, that's how I love you
Come as you are, trust me again
Nothing can change, the love that I bear you
All will be well, just come as you are.

This song is by Diedre Brown
an Australian musician in the Loreto [Catholic] order
she is still vary active in religious life
Its one of my personal favorites to use before communion in my planning of worship.
It is published in the Australian Hymn Book 'Together in Song' and also in Gather Australia, a Catholic Hymnal

Here is it the Loreto Deidre Brown one.

Come as you are, that's how I want you
Come as you are, feel quite at home.
Close to my heart, loved and forgiven
Come as you are, why stand alone.

No need to fear, love sets no limits,
No need to fear, love never ends
Don't run away shamed and disheartened
Rest in my love, trust me again.

I came to call sinners, not just the virtuous
I came to bring peace, not to condemn
Each time you fail to live by my promise
Why do you think I'd love you the less

Come as you are that's how I love you
Come as you are, trust me again
Nothing can change the love that I bear you
All will be well just come as you are.
