i am looking for lyrics, but am not sure what the title is. some of the words are: are you the one or do we look for another.

Is this an old hymn that you are looking for, or a reasonably current song? There is a Contemporary Christian artist named "Carman" who have recorded a song with these lyrics in it, telling the story when John was in prison and sent servants to Jesus asking if he was the ONE. The song is somewhat bouncy, and may be on an album called "Yo, Kids" with "Spits" the Fat Cat on the cover.
