The Lord laid this song on my heart today SO strongly. I hadn't heard it since I was a little kid. An old preacher named J. Bennett Collins came thru our town preaching and my mom bought me his album. This song was on it. I used to lie in bed at night listening to this song over and over. I was young and didn't really understand the words, but the song truly touched my heart even back then (at least 35 years ago).
Lately I've been dealing with some ministry issues. My husband (a prison chaplain for the past 31 years) went to be with the Lord a few months ago. I've been struggling with which direction to take the ministry, constantly reminding the Lord that I'm not as talented or gifted as he was. This morning when I awoke, this song was in my spirit (I hadn't heard it since childhood), so I just HAD to do an online search to see if I could find all the words.
